Rachel Wright received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her MFA from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She has traveled overseas a number of times and considers these experiences to be as much a part of her education as her time in school.

Rachel has exhibited in New York, Chicago, New Orleans, Mobile, Pensacola, Birmingham. Charleston, and Panama City, FL. She has work in a number of collections, including the Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum. Her work is primarily sculptural, mixing media such as glass, clay, iron, wood, wax, fabric, & photographs. She is married to ceramic artist Tony Wright, and the two live happily on the gulf coast in Mobile, Alabama.
